SCHOLARSHIPS - these scholarships vary from year to year check with
the organisation for up to date information.
There are thousands of scholarships available. The best way to
investigate possibilities is to search the website of the tertiary
institute you wish to attend.
Another site to use is
www.breakout.org.nz. This is a
searchable database of over 220 schemes, available free at
libraries. You need your library card to gain access.
If you are applying for a scholarship which is judged and
awarded by the institute offering it, eg Auckland University, then
download the application form, and inform your Dean that a
confidential reference is required. This will be signed by our
Principal.
(If you are applying for accommodation and therefore require a
confidential reference, then inform Careers as soon as
possible).
